About Us
Our History
In 2008, a group of women came together to establish a non-profit organization that focused on the needs of underserved communities in rural areas of Wake County, North Carolina. Wake County is North Carolina’s most populous county and is home to the city of Raleigh, North Carolina’s state capital.
What Drives Us
Our Mission
The Knightdale-Wake Forest Education Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charitable organization that was created to serve and advocate for low to moderate income persons (as defined by the state of North Carolina) that reside in the rural areas of Wake County, NC. We are committed to strengthening our communities through Lifetime Enrichment Programs focused on Education and Scholastic Achievement, Health and Wellness, and Economic Growth.
